Our Story
Our History From 1878 to the Present
We are a four generation picture framing company, founded by my great grandfather. He located to Manhattan in 1878, opening his shop in the Wall Street area.
We have since expanded to the historic village of Tarrytown in Westchester County and named our new company “Heritage Frame & Picture Company” where we continue to carry on his tradition in craftsmanship and attention to service.
From our earliest beginnings, our company has always prided itself with attention to detail for our custom framing clients, including many Fortune 500 corporations. In fact, the New York and American Stock Exchanges were two of our earliest clients. We have developed and maintained a close working relationship with many brokerage firms, insurance companies and law firms in the metropolitan area for over a century.
As our business has evolved, we’ve developed extensive relationships with interior designers, celebrities, private art collectors, galleries and museums. We look forward to helping you with your next project and being a part of your art experience and joy.
